We are looking for a **Bid Manager **to join our Academic & Government Global team.

As the Bid Manager, you will implement Clarivate’s Go-to-Market strategy by delivering compliant, timely, and compelling responses to RFXs and other formal procurement processes employed by our customers.

**About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.**
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters in related field, ideally Librarianship.
- Experience of working in a Higher Education library environment

**It would be great if you also had...**
- Knowledge of the Ex Libris software solutions
- Experience in bid management, providing commercial support.
- APMP certification at Foundation or Practitioner level.
- Fluency in an additional European language
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

**What will you be doing in this role?**
- Manages and drives the full end-to-end bid response process and project timeline, from qualifying the opportunity to delivering the response to the customer.
- Analyses requirements and specifications, obtaining compliance information and sign-off as appropriate from Legal, Pricing, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Management. Manages corporate risk by ensuring that information is accurately stated in response documents.
- Directs input from and manages communication across the corporate matrix from pre-Bid activities through submission, serving as the main point of contact for all proposal activities and communications.
- Executes against bid response plans, including writing, editing, document management, compiling response packages, fulfilment, and response delivery.
- Demonstrates customer focus by customising bid responses to the stated needs and aspirations of the customer.
- Collaborates with other team members to effect continuing process improvement. Participates in professional organisations to bring new ideas and best practices to the team. Contributes to knowledge library development and maintenance, tracking outcomes, records and archives management.
- Coaches and develops designated team member(s).
- Handles special assignments, including those focused on developing and managing complex, high value strategic accounts or consortia bid responses.

**About the Team**

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Bids & Proposals, based in UK.

You will join a global, dynamic, quality-driven team that support the Academic & Government business collaborating with all org functions.

**Hours of Work**

This is a full-time permanent position based in UK.

This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
