The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is looking for a Manager for the Administrative Support Unit.

Our mission is to lead, from the vantage point of molecular science, cross-strategies for solving major social and economic challenges, such as climate change and sustainable supply of energetic and raw materials, thereby contributing to the establishment of a knowledge-based economy and improving citizens’ quality of life in our influence area.

**Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of the Director & Administrative Director, the applicant's responsibilities will include:

- Supervision of the Administrative Support unit staff members.
- Evaluate the needs of the unit based on the projects granted.
- Develop procedures and forms of the management system of the unit in collaboration, where appropriate, with other management units.
- Monitoring of the fulfilment of the tasks of the different areas of the unit.
- Assistance and resolution of incidents - Periodically convene unit meetings to detect needs.
- Efficiently communicate and monitor objectives, actions.
- Promote the development of individual and collective work.

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
- Knowledge and experience of at least 3 years carrying out own administrative support tasks.
- Catalan, Spanish and English level: fluent conversation (certificates not required).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

- Salary split in twelve monthly payments.
