**People Unit Manager (Ref: MGMT 2024-10)**

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Science Outreach and Education Officer to work in the Outreach Unit.

ICIQ is looking for a People Unit Manager. The People Unit Manager is responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies aligned with the Institute’s strategy, and managing all tasks related to labour relations, talent selection, learning and development. He / she will report to the Administrative Director.

He / she will be responsible for a team of 3 specialists in the areas of labour relations, talent acquisition, learning, people development and grants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Definition and execution of the human resources policies at ICIQ together with the Institute direction.
- Develop and implement new and existing internal unit policies,
- Digital disconnection.

- Management of all tasks related to labour relations, talent selection, learning, people development and grants.
- Implementation and follow up the human resources strategy for researchers (HRS4R).
- Implementation of measures related to human resources in accordance with national employment regulations (equality plan, LISMI, RGPD).
- Analysis, description and evaluation of workplaces.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Human Resources Management (Labour Relations, Business Administration,). Complementary training in conflict mediation, equality policies and HR management.
- Command of written and oral English, Spanish and Catalan.
- Experience in a Human Resources department with responsibilities similar to those required.

- Empathetic personality, excellent negotiation skills.
- Flexibility and ability to lead projects independently.

**We offer**:

- A permanent full-time employment contract (1.630 hours/year).
- Remuneration according to individual’s qualification/experience.
- Annual salary split in twelve monthly payments.
- Incorporation: Immediate.

L'ICIQ busca un Cap d'Unitat de Persones. El responsable de la Unitat de Persones és el responsable de desenvolupar i implementar polítiques de recursos humans alineades amb l'estratègia de l'Institut, i de gestionar totes les tasques relacionades amb les relacions laborals, la selecció del talent, l'aprenentatge i el desenvolupament.

Serà responsable d'un equip de 3 especialistes en les àrees de relacions laborals, captació de talent, aprenentatge, desenvolupament de persones i subvencions.

**Responsabilitats**:

- Definició i execució de les polítiques de recursos humans de l'ICIQ conjuntament amb la direcció de l'Institut.
- Desenvolupar i implementar polítiques internes de la unitat, noves i ja existents,

- Implementació i seguiment de l'estratègia de recursos humans per a investigadors (HRS4R).
- Implantació de mesures relacionades amb els recursos humans d'acord amb la normativa nacional d'ocupació (pla d'igualtat, LISMI, RGPD, assetjament, bretxa salarial.).
- Anàlisi, descripció i avaluació de llocs de treball.
- Implementació i seguiment dels plans d'avaluació de l'acompliment del personal i dels plans de carrera.
- Coneixer i estar al dia de la normativa aplicable en materia laboral, del sector public de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
