As Business Development responsible of the Digital Solutions department, the mission is to deliver new products and services to the market coming from internal project visions and results, facilitating and driving R+D internal results to deliver integrated services and products into the market, exploring new business concepts and opportunities to explote in IDIADA, defining and designing proper methodologies, structures and tools inside the company to facilitate the commercialization of these digital solutions, and establishing an integrated environment between departments to develop common products and services.

You will be responsible for driving the digital product roadmap in an agile environment.

So, your
**main duties** will be:

- Providing vision and direction to the digital solutions development team, to the operations team, and to the stakeholders throughout the project and requirements
- Plan and prioritize the development and the deployment for all the products (taking into acount the market needs and technological trends)
- Guarantee in a short term the economical sustainability of the departmente through the deployment of digital solutions for the internal and external teams.

With the collaboration of the operations manager and the different product owners:

- Ensure that all the teams always have an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on fullfilling the market needs
- Define for all the products the vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize actions to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy and market needs

With the collaboration of the software development manager and the different technical leaders:

- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

With the collaboration of Digital Delegates and clients:

- Coordination of Digitalization in general terms.
- Generation of new ideas regarding Digitalization: IDEADAS, NSDP, European Projects,...
- Implementation of the new services

Other responsibilities:

- Evaluation of the impact/success of the idea or new service.
- Development of collaboration programs with Universities (PhD), Master Thesis and FP Dual.
- Define together with Director & Head of the product, future lines of action to align resources including investments.
- Monitor the technological and social trends that could affect the product's business.
- Keep information on technology standards and compliance standards up-to-date.
- Identify the opportunities and risks for the different products.
- Align research and development (R&D) with the digital business strategy of the different products and company.
- Communicate the technology strategy of the product to Digital Business and Top Management
- Lead the Digital Business communication activities (prepare and coordinate technical papers, seminars )

MA in Engineering or similar relevant field
Knowledge of vehicle testing and engineering procedures, proving grounds operations and homologations is valuable
Project management experience is valuable
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Good understanding of data processing and deployment of ML models
Knowledge of Jira is valuable
