Overview
As a Partnerships Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing high-value partnerships with various segments such as Corporate, Government, Entertainment, Sports, Finance, and others as requested. Your main objective will be to maximize revenue and market share.
Main Responsibilities
- Prospecting and acquiring new accounts based on targeted segments
- Executing sales objectives and plans to exceed customer needs and set targets
- Negotiating quotes and prices with clients for both transient and group business
- Generating sales leads within assigned segments and providing feedback on competitor trends
- Aligning sales strategy with the hotel's strategic goals to maximize yield
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular entertainment opportunities
- Traveling internationally to visit partners if needed.
- Creating and managing company profiles in PMS and CRM systems
- Organizing site visits and entertainment to showcase the property to potential clients
- Responding to and handling guest feedback
- Creating a memorable guest experience through attention to detail
- Adhering to hotel policies and procedures
- Attending all briefings, meetings, and training sessions
- Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
- Performing any additional duties assigned by the Director of Sales
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Sales and account management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Ability to identify market trends and anticipate customer needs
- Fluency in English and other languages may be required for international travel
- Additionally, you should be a proactive and innovative thinker, with a passion for exceeding expectations and achieving KPIs such as creativity, innovation, performance, and generated revenue
