**Position Purpose**:
The Director Human Resources is responsible for implementing HR policies and programs and managing all aspects of employee relations and development. The Director HR UK & Ireland ensures HR compliance and serves as a trusted resource and partner in talent acquisition, learning & development, employee relations, total rewards, HR data administration and other Centres of Expertise (COEs), including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), Legal and Compliance & Ethics. As part of the EMEAA and global HR Team the Director HR maintains strategic partnership with business leaders to ensure that Human Resources programs fully support business goals and objectives.

**Key Job Activities**:

- Acting as consultative and strategic business partner, work closely with business leaders to design highly effective HR programs, to support the business needs.
- Ensure HR operations, EH&S and talent management policies and practices adhere to applicable laws and regulations as well as the values and mission of the organization.
- Lead the activities and communications in compliance with the labour law to ensure a smooth relationship with the unions and union reps, included the collective bargaining by workcenter/business line.
- Ensure the qualification of our Special Employment Centers, providing the social services required by the law, obtaining the subsidies, grants and funds of the Government.
- Understand and articulate key employee relations issues and employment law within Spain. Recommend actions/changes required to meet business results and strategies.
- Recruit, develop, inspire and coach managers.
- Represent the Company at labour conciliations, mediations, trials, collective conflicts and labour inspections.

**Education**:

- Required Education: in ENSEÑANZAS UNIVERSITARIAS DE SEGUNDO CICLO Y EQUIVALENTES (LICENCIADOS)/ENSEÑANZAS UNIVERSITARIAS DE MÁSTER or Equivalent

**Experience (EMEAA)**:

- Significant experience in Human Resources with specific expeirience with Spanish Labor laws.
- Fluent in Spanish with conversational English language knowledge.
