Having rapidly grown our our business globally, we’re looking to open a **new, strategic** **position** within our structure - **SAP Sales and Business Development Director in Spain.**

The **SAP Sales and Business Development Director in Spain** is going to play a key role in establishing our reputation as a leading SAP implementation partner on the **Spanish **market.

**Overall Objective of this position**

The position of The **SAP Sales and Business Development Director in Spain** needs to drive and successfully execute sales and business development activities that result in lead generation and sales for SAP Digital Supply Chain (DSC) projects, as well as net new customer development from non-SAP sources.

The role will be focused on supporting the growth of the Market Units by identifying new customer sales opportunities, developing a sales and marketing strategy, managing the sales cycle, and developing new customer opportunities.

The position will be responsible for complex procurements, go-to-market initiatives and as a senior stakeholder for the customers in the Market Units. The role comes with the responsibility to develop and drive the sales forecast, identify, and mitigate risks, evaluate opportunities, and constantly develop our market offerings in the SAP supply chain market.

**Key Responsibilities of position**:

- Research the market and competitive landscape, and identify targets and new business opportunities
- Develop, manage, and report on target lists of prospective new clients, including updating relevant CRM databases and other internal tools. Internally communicating to CU and MU lead as to the status of the pipeline
- Overall responsibility for the relevant sales pipeline and to build the quantity and quality of leads so that the required number of opportunities at different stages of the presales process are maintained
- Identify and attend appropriate networking and industry events. Leverage own network and those of the wider team to demonstrate that networking extends the sales pipeline with viable, on brand, opportunities
- Ensure RFI’s and RFPs are qualified and responded to on time, with comprehensive high-quality and relevant collateral
- Lead and manage the response to appropriate RFI’s and lead or contribute to the organisation of the RFP and pitch responses
- Manage opportunities until contract closure
- Develop and maintain all relevant relationships with SAP local structure
- Develop and maintain relationships with Westernacher’s clients
- Develop and drive short term tactical campaigns alongside developing longer term strategic sales and marketing opportunities
- Develop sales and marketing strategy, tactics, and sales plans to profit targets.
- Develop regional sales plans and prepare forecast and revenue projections
- Oversee pipeline and financial reporting so as to provide the necessary management information on performance verses target
- Develop and support appropriate marketing assets with colleagues
- Work closely with global finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with all internal processes and policies

**Key **skills**:

- Experience building, scaling, and leading successful DSC Software Sales in France
- Proven ability to implement and adopt sales methodologies and strategies
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding objectives and revenue target
- Significant previous revenue responsibility with a focus on net new business
- Proven ability to engage with C level in large and small companies as well as ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate a value proposition
- Proven ability to position value offerings against competitors
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal, aural and written communications skills
- Excellent organization skills

**General Requirements**:

- Available to travel if the role requires it
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Other languages are an asset
