Local Unit & Position Description:
We are looking for a
**Food&Beverage Sales Area Manager** to join our Iberia (Spain and Portugal) unit in a permanent role.

The food sector is a major focus for our certification activities and DNV is highly respected globally in this industry.

Our unit is supported by skilled people, market-oriented and passionate about customer care as well as respect for ethical policies and accreditation rules. Risk-based thinking drive our business for decades and this background has allowed us to be the first certification body to be accredited by ENAC in ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001, new releases under the HLS structure. **The main areas of responsibility are**:

- Ensure that the DNV F&B sector strategy and policies are implemented at the local level and managed, limited to the pertinent area, organizational F&B structure, and relative interfaces within the organization.
- Define and put in place, according to goals & targets, plans, and actions in order to meet targets regarding sales, revenue, operating margin, retention, and quality of service in the F&B sector.
- Develop local market and promote and improve relationships with Customers of assigned territory.
- Support Sales Manager Iberia analyzing F&B market trend information, related to selected territory, to recommend changes to practices and policies and improve market positioning.
- Ensure a continuous presence in the market of assigned unit.
- Cooperate with other colleagues, both inside the food sector and outside, in a teamwork approach.

Position Qualifications:

- Educated in business or scientific university degree level.
- Previous experience of minimum 3 years working in sales and customer management and a strong business sense.
- Knowledge of certification services in the Food Industry is a must.
- Native Spanish and Fluent English (both written and spoken). Portuguese language would be a great addition.
- Dynamic, goal-oriented, proactive approach.
- High level of business acumen, including an understanding of the customer’s business drivers, industry, economic trends, issues, and competition.
- Availability to travel.
