McCain holds a strong position in various countries in frozen potato specialties, and also in appetizers. McCain operates 55 factories on six continents and employs more than 20.000 people worldwide.
Within Food Service Business in Iberia, McCain is the leader in the frozen potato category and your primary role, as Sales Representative, is to manage some distributors and end users in your specific area.
**Job purpose**:
Within the Iberia Sales Team, as the **Sales Lead Coordinator **you** **will be responsible for managing and cultivating sales leads within the food service sector, playing a critical role in driving business growth and expansion. In addition to that, the Sales Lead Coordinator will give support to some the Sales Administrator Manager with other topics nonrelated to Sales Leads.
**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for the leads management of Iberia, implementing the best procedures and way of working to increase conversion and ROI, under the guidance, supervision and support of the Sales Administrator Manager. You will do this by:
- ** Lead Generation Strategy Development**: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies tailored to the food service industry. This includes identifying key target markets, refining messaging, and leveraging various channels such as digital marketing, networking events, and industry partnerships.
- ** Lead Qualification and Prioritization**: Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the quality and viability of sales leads. Utilize predetermined criteria to qualify leads based on factors such as budget, timeline, and decision-making authority. Prioritize leads according to their level of readiness and potential value to the organization.
- ** Lead Nurturing and Relationship Building**: Engage with potential clients in a consultative manner, understanding their unique needs and challenges within the food service sector. Provide personalized solutions and value-added insights to build trust and credibility, nurturing leads through targeted communication and ongoing support.
- ** Sales Pipeline Management**: Implement and maintain a structured approach to managing leads through the sales pipeline. Utilize CRM software to track lead status, record interactions, and schedule follow-up activities. Ensure timely and proactive communication with leads to keep them engaged and moving forward in the sales process.
- ** Collaborative Sales Enablement**: Partner closely with the sales team to facilitate seamless handover of qualified leads. Provide detailed lead profiles and relevant background information to equip sales representatives with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively engage with prospects and drive conversions.
- ** Continuous Improvement and Optimization**: Monitor and analyze lead generation and conversion metrics to identify areas for improvement. Make data-driven recommendations for optimizing lead generation strategies, refining qualification criteria, and enhancing the efficiency of the sales process. Actively seek feedback from internal stakeholders and external clients to inform ongoing refinement efforts.
In addition to that, you will also be responsible for some administrative tasks, giving support to the Sales Team under the guidance, supervision, and support of the Sales Administrator Manager. Some of these tasks could be:
- Check, approve and manage invoices and credit notes (High Radius)
- Create and update internal and external customer´s reports.
- Maintain the FS SharePoint up to date with customer´s contracts, price approvals, etc.
- Support in punctual topics such as price list preparation, participation in trade shows, update SAP regarding customer, territories, etc.
- Othe specific projects or tasks the Sales Administrator Manager considers.
**About You**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business economics, administration, marketing, commerce or a related field
- At least 1 year of professional experience in sales will be valued
- Strong understanding of food service trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences
- Experience and management of customers databases will be valued
- Experience in sales CRM systems like Salesforce and data systems like PowerBI nice to have
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
