**THE ROLE**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate finance professional to support in the delivery of finance asset management services to one of our most important clients.

Strong experience in intercompany accounting and extensive NetSuite experience is required. The role demands someone who will make an immediate impact, and can embrace change, as the organization is undergoing a period of growth and expansion. We are looking for someone who with exceptional attention to detail and who will go above and beyond to deliver.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will be supporting the Intercompany Lead and ensuring that the intercompany balances across the portfolio are accurately accounted for; the role will involve:

- Preparing costs recharges within entities across the portfolio, via journals, invoices and credit notes
- Preparing quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure all intercompany balances are settled, and material variances and mismatches are investigated and resolved on a timely basis
- Posting month-end journal entries, raising invoices and credit notes within the accounting system (NetSuite)
- Preparing, issuing and recording VAT compliant intercompany invoices for routine and ad-hoc intercompany transactions
- Ad hoc intercompany related projects as and when they arise

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES**

- IT Literacy - you need to be comfortable with IT systems and working with data (you should have at least intermediate-level Excel)
- Delivery focus - it may sound obvious, but the ability to proactively churn through work at pace and deliver quality outputs really matters

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- AAT qualified or part-qualified (highly desirable)
- 3+ years’ experience within a Finance function, with extensive knowledge and understanding of intercompany accounting (essential)
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience (essential)
- A passion for process improvement and operational efficiency (essential)
- Fluent, advanced business level English (essential)
