**The **CPCO **CropScience team **ensures that Bayer is globally compliant with all applicable legislation relevant for labelling&packaging, transportation, storage and supply of substances, finished goods and hazardous chemicals. The CPCO team CropScience is accountable for the used substances, finished goods and raw materials. The scope encompasses all regions with focus on the division CropScience.
Responsible for ensuring high quality and compliance with EHS processes and data for the CropScience division in the SAP EHS System
**Key Working Relations**:
Report to line manager of Global Business Services within the area of NFGS
Primary contact towards HSE organizations of the CropScience division
**YOUR Tasks & Responsibilities**:
1. Lead team of Substance Classification Managers and Specialists.
2. Responsible and accountable for execution of Substance Classification and Labelling (DG & PS) in compliance with all applicable relevant legislations (transportation and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling).
3.Responsible and accountable for maintaining Goods and Product Safety data in respective systems (SAP EHS) and for the global Safety Data Sheet and Raw Materials.
4. Leading role in the Global Business Services (GBS) community New Functions General Services.
5. Leading role in the global Substance Classification community.
7. Foster continuous improvement and innovative mindset to eliminate manual work and no added value activities, while targeting in automation and digitalization.
8. Motivates and leads all members of the team and ensures constant and personalized development, while increasing engagement and trust.
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- University degree, preferable Chemistry or other natural sciences.
- At least 5 years professional experience in operations or HSE preferably in areas directly related to Product Safety and Dangerous Goods.
- Comprehensive skills in SAP EHS.
- Strong management, leadership and communication skills with a passion for leading and developing people.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
