We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative, Marine Export to join us at our facility in Asturias.
The Customer Service Representative, Marine Export is a key role within the team, acting as primary customer interface for our global external customers, distributors, potential customers, and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Receives and processes all types of customer orders including complex orders, processes internal requests related to customer inquiries (laboratory work requests, brochures or sample sending etc.)
- Responsible for inquiry & order handling process from beginning to end, including offer management, price enquiries as well as returns handling
- Understands cash collection process e.g. credit hold next steps/actions. On request, resolves open credit issues with customers and issues invoice adjustments and other debits/credits
- Inventory Handling: Manages setups like call-off orders or consignment stocks: consignment fill-up, inventory management, invoicing, count, reconciliation
- Follows desk procedures/policies in compliance with SOX, ISO, and other requirements
Key requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
- Language skills: Fluency in English. Ideally French or Arabic
- Computer knowledge: Proficient in Word and Excel. Good knowledge of SAP
- Ideally 2 years of experience in a customer service, supply chain or logistics department within an international company
- Marine Export knowledge as well as Customs and Customs clearance knowledge
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and in writing)
- Customer focused, team player and ability to work under pressure
