LVFS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Savings & Retirement Sales team on a permanent basis supporting a panel of firms across the NORTH WEST (north of Manchester, to Carlisle).

This panel will consist of c.100 firms who either currently support LV=, or have potential to write good levels of business.

Responsible for the education of our Savings & Retirement products to advisers, spotting opportunities where we can offer solutions for their customers, and to create new business sold by these third parties. Talking to business owners, senior stakeholders and advisers, therefore business planning, confidence and exuberance is fundamental to your success in this role.

This role will require someone who is willing to travel/has their own vehicle (we offer a car allowance)

**About you**:

- You will have proven track record working in Financial Services - specifically selling Saving & Retirement products. Understandably, you will be a confident and passionate person who has an inherent ability to build sustainable partnerships and develop new business.
- With a strong business acumen, you are able to spot opportunities and provide solutions to generate profitable sales. This means you are a persuasive, influential negotiator, with the ability to turn around business contracts promptly. You are competitive and work well on your own but you also know that working as part of a team is vital strength to the overall success to our Business Development Team.
- We are looking for someone who has Platform Knowledge & Experience, who can work within a team that works towards common targets to identify and plan new business opportunities.
