We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.


Within this role, you will focus on our Protection products, and work with firms across the Southwest & Northern Ireland, covering Bristol to Bournemouth to Cornwall & (Northern Ireland once per month), as your primary focus areas.

You'll receive a realistic salary and bonus of circa £80,000, plus a great benefits package including car allowance.


You will also be provided with business MI to provide you with a good insight to the market and some of our potential business leads.


About you:

  • Be organised and selfmotivated, with the ability to plan your workload effectively.
  • A proven track record of working in Financial Services selling Protection products.
  • Demonstrate a strong sales background, and an understanding of how to incorporate effective sales methods within your communication.
  • Be confident and passionate, with the inherent ability to build sustainable relationships and develop new business.
  • Be businessfocused, with the ability to spot opportunities and provide solutions to generate profitable sales.
  • Exhibit influential negotiation skills.
  • Work well alone, and as part of a team, to ensure the overall success of our Business Development Team.

  • Within this fantastic new role, your duties will include:
  • Taking responsibility for educating advisers on Protection products
  • Finding opportunities to offer competitive, relevant solutions for customers, and creating new business.
  • Building relationships with business owners, senior stakeholders, and advisers
  • Maintaining your knowledge of the Protection product market
  • Keeping your diary and records up to date.
  • Competently work towards common targets to identify and plan new business opportunities.
  • Meeting set KPIs and deadlines.
