**About the Role**

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for crafting relationships and bringing on-board key retailers (both big corporations and local heroes) to build up the selection of Uber Eats in Spain You will manage a national pipeline and the end-to-end sales process. Due to the nature of the partnerships, we expect medium-length sales cycles.

**What You'll Do**
- Build relationships with key retailers in Spain
- Close deals by leading the entire end-to-end sales process, which means:

- Prospecting
- Sizing opportunities
- Managing the pipeline
- Establishing relationships
- Preparing pitch books and materials (tailored to the needs and interests of each partner)
- Creating sales strategies and commercial proposals
- Negotiating
- Supporting Legal in the contracting stage to bring deals to life
- Using Salesforce to update the process
- Coordinate the activation of retailers with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth experience
- Own the retail selection: identify gaps and uncover opportunities to bring excitement to our retail offering and ensure we are creating well-rounded categories
- Work with other internal teams to craft, develop and redesign processes to ensure that we are working with the tools to succeed and that the GR sales engine is as efficient as possible
- Stay on top of the retail segment and know what market competitors (direct or indirect) are doing in the space

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in a sales or business development role with proven experience managing and negotiating enterprise deals
- Native Spanish and fluent in English

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of salesforce is highly desired
- Experience in the retail industry is a big plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Commercial mentality with ability to spot business opportunities
- Critical thinking with the ability to create commercial proposals based on numbers analytical approach will be needed), drive insights to aid negotiations and provide deals with structure and content
- You are a critical thinker that can make sound business decisions independently
- Ability to identify needs and provide comprehensive solutions to business problems
- Curiosity to understand the business and its operations to act as an Uber Eats ambassador
- Results-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated. You hustle until you get the job done
- Team player who brings a positive spirit and energy and contributes to a great culture
