**The Role**

Group Sales Manager will service existing accounts and uses a variety of marketing and outreach strategies to generate and nurture new accounts for the region. They will handle direct sales and engage in account management duties, including entertainment. They are focused on account development and growth, and develop and implement plans and strategies to help grow repeat business.

**Main Duties**

**Business Development**
- To create and conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
- To solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
- To develop targeted outreach events making personal appearances where required
- To prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account
- To manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.

**Operational**
- To communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to relevant departments to ensure the highest quality of service to the clients when in House (from arrival till departure)
- To co-ordinate and process all phase of group contracts - booking, securing deposits and processing payments with Finance in a timely manner.

**Reporting**
- To report monthly on customer relationships, sales forecasts, and new prospects.
- To maintain a database and track Group Sales leads, inquiries, lost business, sales revenue, and provide ongoing status reports to HOO & MD.

- Superb presentation skills
- Ability to interface with wide range of constituent groups
- Budget forecasting, development and management skills
- Basic IT and database skills
- Strong math aptitude and ability to attend to detail in transactions
