The **Finance Director **will be responsible for the financial leadership, direction and management of MedTech Spain. This includes the development, execution, management, and follow-up of strategies and action plans to maximize the value of our portfolio over the long term. In doing so, the Finance Director will also ensure alignment with all stakeholders to develop and implement these plans. This includes the planning of revenue, allocation of resources, optimization of working capital, and the management of financial risks and opportunities. The role will report directly to the CFO of MedTech EMEA.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Business Partnering**
- Strong business partnership with all members of the Leadership Team, Departmental heads, and EMEA counterparts
- Constructive challenging, looking for value creating growth opportunities, and driving and developing the Spanish strategy.
- Management of business plan commitments including Sales, Gross profit, Opex, headcount, DSO, and Cashflow
- External focus and ability to establish connections with outside stakeholders
- As a board member, sponsor projects and initiatives outside the scope of Finance
- Participate and lead EMEA Finance and x-sector initiatives
- Ensure active participation in Leadership Team Meetings, Board Reviews & Strategic Plans

**Financial Planning & Review**
- Lead the financial planning of the Mid-term plan, business plan updates and latest thinking. This includes detailed analysis and scenario planning, alignment of all parties within Spain and EMEA and coordination of the preparation, consolidation, and review of the detailed financial plans.
- Lead the periodic financial performance reviews & budget variance analysis providing an overview of performance to the Management Board as well as EMEA including drivers of variance and insights into future impacts.
- Actively contribute to commercial decision-making processes, including target setting and resource allocation/trade-offs.

**Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with the J&J WW financial policies, HCBI, Code of Business Conduct and drive accountability throughout the organization
- Ensure compliance with local regulations
- Statutory Director of the Johnson & Johnson S.A. Legal Entity

**People management**
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Leverage Diversity and Inclusion to create high-performing teams
- Lead the Spanish Business Unit Finance team
- Ensure collaboration between ONE Finance team (bringing together Global Services, Tax & Statutory CoE and FP&A) and be the single point of contact for the Spanish board and EMEA Finance
- Inspire and lead by example, ensuring adherence to Our Credo Values in daily interactions.
- Demonstrate curiosity, an ability to develop a perspective on business, influence outcomes, and an agile learning attitude (test, learn and adapt)
- Coach and mentor key talents in EMEA Finance, Spain and x-sector Finance

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- University Degree and recognized Professional Accountancy qualification
- Minimum +10 years of experience in finance roles with relevant business exposure in a large multinational with a matrixed organization
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading teams, also in collaborating with senior management, business, and functional leaders
- Medical industry know-how considered is a plus
- Exceptional financial and analytical skills, results, and business performance delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player mentality, and collaborative working style
- Excellent communication, influencing, and framing skills
- Exemplary leadership skills in creating high-performing teams and developing people to their highest potential
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in periods of change
