About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Iberia Finance Director to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our finance function and driving business growth in the Iberian region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Integration and Growth: Support the integration of our legal entity into our global environment, while driving profitable growth in the Iberian region.
  2. Team Leadership: Build and lead a lean team of finance, controlling, and administrative specialists.
  3. Financial Processes: Lead and oversee all financial processes, including cost accounting, controlling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  4. Business Analysis: Analyze business data, identify areas for improvement, and develop corrective action plans to achieve strategic targets.
  5. Financial Management: Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow, while ensuring compliance with group policies.
  6. Banking and Liquidity: Coordinate with our parent company CFO to manage liquidity needs and ensure smooth banking operations.
  7. Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement a commercial strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
  8. Tax and Audit: Manage tax and audit activities, including reporting and planning, while ensuring compliance with Spanish frameworks.
  9. IT Support: Secure high-quality IT support for our finance function, including systems, software, and people.
  10. Representation: Represent our company in all negotiations and communication initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree in Business or Finance, with an MBA or Master's in Finance being a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years as Finance Director/Finance Manager in a small/medium-sized subsidiary of a multinational group.
  3. International Experience: Experience working in an international organization, preferably in a sales company from industrial/manufacturing groups.
  4. Financial Management: Hands-on experience in managing all relevant disciplines in finance, with a solid understanding of financial and controlling functions.
  5. Strategic Thinking: Experienced in setting and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures.
  6. Transfer Pricing: Knowledge of transfer pricing and currency exchange.
  7. Analytical Skills: Well-developed analytical skills and business understanding.
  8. Language: Very high English level is a must, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint also required.
  9. IT Experience: Practical management experience with IT and related EDP structures and systems, as well as ERP systems like HFM/Board/Cognos.
  10. SAP Experience: Experience working with SAP is a must, with experience implementing SAP being a plus.
  11. Travel: Availability to travel occasionally.
