Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: The Finance Director will be responsible for managing the finances and finance organization of Ferring. This includes overseeing local logistics and supply chain management, as well as developing a broad understanding of finance targets across the local Ferring organization.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: The Finance Director will be responsible for setting and contributing to achieving financial goals and targets, managing the forecast P&L and cash flow, and performing budget and forecast processes.
  • Financial Reporting: The Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end closure reporting in coordination with the Finance Centre of Excellence in Lisbon, Portugal.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: The Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring strict implementation and adherence to internal guidelines, instructions, processes, and systems, as well as fiscal and finance regulations, local and global.
Requirements:
  • Education: University degree in Finance or Economics.
  • Experience: 10- years' experience in Finance and sound experience in multinational environments.
  • Skills: Strong solid understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes, solid experience in leading teams, on- and off-shore, experience with SAP-HANA implementation will be a plus, strong project and change management skills, analytical mindset, self-starter, ability to see opportunities and solve problems independently, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work in decentralized finance structure, ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects.
