**About the Role**

You are an expert in international surety bond issuance with strong interpersonal skills, enjoy direct contact with network partners and want to develop further into relationship management roles?
This might be your next challenge:
You will be responsible to service International Surety clients, with an additional focus on creating and maintaining partnerships with local providers of international surety solutions. This includes the timely and accurate handling of client and broker requests and inquiries, as well as the issuance of bonds, instructing banking network partners and coordination through the lifecycle.

**In particular your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Closely interact and coordinate with internal stakeholders in Operations and Underwriting located in various regions and markets, as well as with external stakeholders such as clients, brokers and banking network partners
- Process and administer guarantees in systems and tools, including checking and coordinating issuance of such documents and administrate throughout their entire lifecycle
- Support the underwriting during renewal processes, obtaining quotes and coordination with the client and broker in regards of international guarantees including drafting bond wordings
- Administer syndicated loans, co-insurance, risk participation and other complex transactions
- Analyze and identify premium and fee discrepancies and determine appropriate measures
- Manage existing surety network contacts in the LatAm region and expand the network where needed
- On-demand reaching to potential Network Partners to seek best offer to issue individual bond based on request from International Surety Desk and select reliable network partners for bond issuance to derive long-term relationship with.
- Coordinate reinsurance slip on individual bond issuance when no reinsurance framework exists
- Create/activate/de-activate network partner for surety in the relevant systems to accommodate bond issuance
- Monitor and drive service level of Network Partners as per agreed standards
- Handover mature network relationships to Global Network Management team to seek possibility to build standing reinsurance framework
- Promote SRI surety capability within network and detect sales lead for surety UWs.

Our team is spread across many locations in Europe, Asia Pacific, as well as North and Latin America. As part of the International Surety transformation project, we are implementing a new International Surety Model with new roles and responsibilities, standardize and improve processes as well as extend our international banking partner network.

**Education, Skills and Experience**:

- Completed commercial education preferably banking specialist or bachelor studies in economics or law
- Associates Degree or job experience equivalent
- Experience with indirect issuance via banks and dealing with counter guarantees
- Experience in dealing with network partners is a must, knowledge on surety bonds and business is a plus
- Good knowledge and understanding of surety business as well as direct issuance and fronting
- Good knowledge on sanctions and AML procedures, commercial and company law, ICISA forms and other international rules is a plus
- Previous experience in client facing role preferably in finance environment
- Proficiency in the English and Spanish language is a must - Additional languages of relevant markets (especially Portuguese) are a plus
- Demonstrate good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Basic Internet knowledge is a must. SWIFT messages for documentary business a must.
- Demonstrate competency in intermediate level math, administrative and clerical procedures including handling files and records, general economic and accounting principles, and processes for providing customer service
- Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new processes and guidelines, learn new skills, and stay updated with the team supported.
