**Technology Scouting Manager**
The position exists to manage innovation in the area of technology in JTI. The person will be working for the Technology Innovation team in the Digital & IT function and will be responsible for scouting new technologies outside JTI, connecting with external and internal stakeholders to understand new trends and how they fit in JTI. The person will be responsible for running PoCs in a LAB and will also support the preparation of social activities to explain what JTI is doing in the area of innovation via broadcasts, hackathons, roadshows, etc.
**Main areas of responsibilities**:
**Innovation**
- Responsible for the exploration of New Technologies. Scouting the market for new proposals that can be incorporated into JTI portfolio
**Analysis**
- Analyze new technologies to see the fit in JTI landscape and articulate a proposal and the hypothesis of its usage in the company.
**Implementation**
- Responsible for the implementation of PoC for new technologies in a LAB for demonstrating the hypothesis of the business case for JTI.
**Marketing**
- Will also support the planning of social initiatives to communicate innovation activities. A quarterly broadcast and other social initiatives like hackathons, roadshows, etc.
**Project Management**
- Will also support in the follow-up and control of projects in the innovation portfolio accepted by the TLT (Technology Leadership Team) and will support the Innovation Director in the presentation of these projects.
**Requirements**:
- University Degree or equivalent in IT or computer science field
- 2-4 years of working experience in the technology innovation field in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Experience in implementing IT projects as a Project Manager
- Fluent in written & spoken English
- Good/advanced knowledge of technology platforms that are standard in JTI such as Microsoft solutions, ERP, Snow etc.
