**Technica Engineering **is an electronics manufacturing company in the field of vehicle development.
We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as provide consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical specialization in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.

Being a permanent role, you get the security, freedom, and support to grow both personally and professionally as an essential part of the Technica team. The company offers internal training to help you develop/progress the skills and knowledge to get started and excel in one of our many projects. Upon starting at the company you will be further supported by an experienced colleague who will work with you individually as a mentor/coach role.

Our own infrastructure includes around 300 workstation computers. We also operate several servers.

System administration includes all tasks from service design to service operation of classic and virtualized systems. We are currently growing at three locations and are trying to automate and link our processes. Today the tasks are taken over by a team of 5 other colleagues at 3 locations. We are looking for support for this.

**Your mission**:
**Your tasks in IT system administration**:

- Server and storage management and support.
- Installation and maintenance of active and passive network components.
- Maintenance of the operating systems under Windows, possibly also under Linux.
- Desktop service and support, license management and software distribution.
- Data backup and data recovery.
- Monitoring of the physical parameters.
- Troubleshooting.

**Your profile**:
**Job requirements**:

- You have a good knowledge of the use of various Windows servers (Active directory, certification authorities, Office 365)
- You have basic understanding of routing, switching, firewall, IDS / IPS, network protocols and network services
- Knowledge of IT security (infrastructure, networks, cryptography) is desirable
- Your knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is an advantage.
- Language competences in English are needed at least at communication level.
