Solutions Architect

**Job Description**:
To fulfill the Solution Architect Role, within the Global Business Link organization, proactively consult/identify business needs and designs relevant IT solutions.**
**Objectives**
- Proactively consult business on the solutions IT delivers/can deliver and act as Single Point of Contact for business. Communicating the solutions to all levels (customer, business and technical staff)
- Feed business view into the IT strategy
- Participate in the sales process, bring in the IT view, and define IT section in proposals
- Proactively consult sales department on deliverable IT solutions and own the IT service catalogue
- Interact with specialists to develop innovative high quality IT solutions that match business requirements
**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensuring that the underlying IT architecture delivers the capabilities, which address the demanded business, needs. Helps the executive business Leaders to make investments decisions that balance and prioritize current and future demands. Promotes innovation and optimization, with a long-term strategic vision.
- Create extensive, usually regional system and process concepts including modification of the existing IT landscape in cooperation with internal/external departments (the systems are similar in terms of hardware/software and consist of several dependent sub-systems)
- Create implementation plans. Test solution in terms of functionality. Carry out pilots and evaluate them.
- Assist in RFP processes, assist in project and forecast budget planning.
