The challenge ahead is remarkably interesting, because the idea is to strengthen the Spanish market with plans for global expansion, and for that the key is the team and the management that we make of it.

As a Compliance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a company's policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Also referred to as compliance specialists, these highly analytical professionals perform regular audits, implement company policies, and design control systems.

**About the role**
- Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
- Review AML/KYC escalations and evaluate suspicious transactions and filing STR's where appropriate.
- Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
- Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
- Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
- Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
- Develop, implement, and execute the Compliance training program.
- Review and assess potential fraud activity and developing fraud detection tools.
- Fill regulatory reports and other documentation.

**Qualifications**
- 9+ years experience in the compliance industry in a regulated financial services company.
- Experience in Fintech, Insurtech payments/banking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Native Spanish and andvance level of English.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in Startup environment.
- Certified compliance professional is a plus.
