As Area Sales Manager based in Madrid, reporting to the Iberic Sales Manager, you will boost sales representatives knowledge, skills and activities to make them achieve and/or exceed their individual sales budget with respect of the bioMérieux Commercial Operations strategy and a profitable customer-portfolio management.

**What will be your missions at bioMérieux?**
- Prepare and execute Sales Meetings with the Sales team. Perform monthly one-to-one SBO meetings: review skills, activities, business pipeline and results. Plan the sales representatives activities and the coaching development plan for the next month. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual sales forecasts.
- Build strong relationships with key strategic accounts and Key Opinion leaders network among Laboratory, Administration and Clinicians within zone: capitalize on relationship opportunities for cross selling bioMérieux solutions.
- Review reports/budgets/time and overall effective and efficient time & territory management of all direct reports (updated & accurate usage of CRM, Strategic Selling approach, expenses, weekly phone-ins, sales pipelines, contracts ). Prepare detailed zone sales reports from field sales, analyze results and take corrective action to achieve sales targets.
- Build relevant sales and clinical value training according to Sales Capabilities that result in increased commercial performance as well as career & personal development. Develop knowledge and skills of each Account Manager through Training & individual Coaching during joint visits.
- Manage teams of sales reps (coach, develop, recruit).
- Support and ensure transversal daily teamwork with the rest of the commercial organization (Sales Specialists, Customer Service, Marketing & Medical Department)
- Ensure that the company quality procedures are followed by sales staff and that the company quality objectives are understood & respected.

**Who are you?**
- Bachelor of Science Degree and double competence in business (Management, Sales, Marketing) appreciated.
- Team Management experience needed, minimum 5-7 years, coaching and developing direct team members in clinical value approach.
- Ability to develop the sales team competencies.
- Ability to develop a good understanding and integration of the selling process and sales tools (CRM Tool, concur, COGNOS ).
- ability to conduct motivational SBO meetings.
- Ability to collect, analyse markets & customers trends, forecast trends and define the adaptive local strategies when necessary.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer and problem solving oriented.
- Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office programs.
- Strong cooperation and team player mindset, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial in-vitro diagnostic experience, business to business and/or corporate account sales experience or management, with a proven track record of results.
- Good knowledge of the product lines, customers and IVD business required.
- Ability to collect, analyse markets & customers trends, forecast trends and define the adaptive local strategies when necessary.
- Excellent English skills. Catalan and French will be a plus.
