This position it's intended for a person with broad skills in the most used and well known biotechnology techniques, as well as knowledge of the market trends and the latest technology updates. Whithin the Life Science department, the individual will contribute in the implementation and growth of specific business lines, specially in the area of Clinical Research and Advanced Therapies. It is necessary to comprehend the life science sales market and try to overtake the competitors on these specific areas to improve the market share of the company.
Key Accountabilities • Responsible of making marketing actions intended to develop the business plan.
• Reach the goals of the product lines, helping in defining sales strategies, as well as different product promotion activities.
• Develop marketing actions based on customer needs and product tecnology trends.
• Support and train the sales team in configuring and defending customer projects during the pre-sale steps.
• Help the sales team in understanding the market trends, based in a close contact with customers and manufacturers.
• Evaluate and anticipate the deviations of the business plan, proposing and applying the corrective actions, if needed.
• Keep an attitude of continuous learning and update, in all the aspects related to business.
Networking/Key relationships
• Coordination with sales and service departments, as well as other departments of the company.
• Coordination with Regulatory affairs, Planning, and Financial Department to carry out the management of the product lines.
• Coordination with the Business Unit Manager and the rest of the Product and Marketing teams to carry out sinergies and combined growth.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: • Degree in Life Sciences disciplines (Biology, Biochemistry or related).
• Experience in research lab or similar environment (PhD desired).
• Experience in a clinical research environment (clinical samples, hospital environment).
• Knowledge on the analysis of human disease and biofluids (genomics, proteomics,
• Proven ability on experimental design and execution.
• Desired knowledege of Pharma/CRO R+D environment and pre-clinical trials.
• Fluent in English.
Skills & Capabilities: Abilities in sales and negotiation process.
Knowledge on the Life Sciences Market.
Proactive attitude, self-motivated.
Able to cooperate as a team player and also to work as an individual contributor.
High empathy, flexibility and tolerancy.
International travelling: eventual visits to our providers.
