The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher.
This position will be funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. JR Galán-Mascarós’ research group. The postdoctoral researcher will work on the development and characterization of photoelectrocatalytic materials and devices for small molecule activation.
**Responsibilities**
- Materials processing and electrode&cell assembly
- Photo-electrochemical characterization.
- Chemical analysis and quantification of products
- Writing of reports and scientific articles.
**Requirements**:
- PhD in chemistry or equivalent
- Experience in processing of materials.
- Expertise in working with solar simulator
- Experience photo-electrocatalysis
- Ability to cooperate with experimental teams.
- Ability to present the results the results of research in scientific journals and in international congresses and also to non-scientific audience is a must.
- Proven excellent knowledge of English.
- S/He should be a motivated, open-minded, highly dynamic and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
**Valued qualities**
- Postdoctoral experience in photocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis.
- Demonstrated experience in reporting and publishing research results in top scientific journals.
- S/He should be a motivated, open-minded, highly dynamic and capable of working in a team, making decisions, solving problems and creative thinking.
- Strong commitment for scientific research in a competitive environment.**We offer**
- A 3-year full-time position.
- Remuneration according to individual’s qualification/experience.
- Annual salary split in twelve monthly payments.
- Incorporation: September 2023.
