The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher.
This position will be funded by Indústria del Coneixement - Producte 2021 (AGAUR).
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform analytical method optimization to identify the degradation products
- Use HTE screenings to provide multiple API degradation data in solution
- Use mechanochemical (ball mill) approach to provide API degradation data in the solid state
- Synthesis of targeted impurities to confirm their identity
**Requirements**:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, or similar
- Experience in synthetic organic chemistry
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is required
Valued qualities
- Experience in analysis by HPLC, UPLC and MS
- Previous knowledge in mechanochemistry and/or HTE techniques will be positively valued
- Good communication skills
We offer
- A full-time employment contract linked to the project 2021 PROD 00042 with funding until the end of the project (18 Apr 2024).
- Remuneration according to individual’s qualifications/experience.
- Annual salary split in twelve monthly payments.
- Incorporation: August 2023.
