The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. Emilio Palomares’ research group. This position will be funded by the Pearl and the Excited project.

ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. Emilio Palomares’ research group on the fabrication of solar cells. This project is funded by the European Union (101122283-PEARL and 101097684-Excited).

**Responsibilities**
- Deposition of the materials (electrodes, charge transport layers, active layer) by solution processing or evaporation.
- Characterization of the morphology of the resulting layers and their electrooptical properties in solution and in solid state.
- Fabrication of solar cells by standard laboratory procedures and characterization of their performance (JV curve, EQE, stability, charge kinetics).
- Writing technical reports and drafts for submission as papers about the obtained results.
- Presentations of the results in conferences, technical meetings and workshops of the project.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in Chemistry or related fields
- Experience in the fabrication of solar cells is mandatory.
- Familiarity with the measurements of fluorescence decay lifetimes and other spectroscopic techniques, IV curves and degradation studies.

- Experience in structural characterization and surface analysis.

**We offer**
- A 3-year full-time contract.
- Remuneration according to individual’s qualifications/experience.
- Annual salary split in twelve monthly payments.
- Incorporation: Immediate.
