The Head of Rewards, Europe enables Sandoz business units in the Europe region to resource and deliver their business strategies, and create an environment where associates can flourish, through the delivery of specialist Rewards services, strategic business partnering and programs. Directs the implementation of global Rewards programs and processes within the Europe Region. Represents, and advocates for, the specific needs of their markets and B.U.s within the Sandoz Global Rewards Leadership team.
Major Accountabilities
- Leads the delivery of specialty Rewards services and activities for the Europe Region and Global Business Units including:

- Advice on complex offers, severance and retention interventions
- Managing local/spot benchmarking activities, support in determining local pay ranges and salary budget requirements (in collaboration with Global Rewards Design 7 Operations team team)
- Planning and executing pay equity interventions in collaboration with Executive Rewards team
- Supporting re-organization activities and working with P&O partners to conduct regular organization health reviews
- Local implementation of Rewards communications / branding, and delivering education/training on core rewards processes, principles & local governance
- Regular monitoring of overall Rewards program usage and KPIs, planning interventions where necessary
- Ensuring overall competitive practices and optimal ROI from all of the above
- Ensures business & talent strategy is supported through the design and delivery of local/bespoke Rewards solutions and/or interventions, where needed:

- Acts as key business partner for the Europe Region and Global Business Units. As part of the Global or Regional P&O leadership team(s), provides input to the organization’s business and talent strategies, highlighting potential Rewards-related business opportunities or weaknesses.
- Leads the regional teams to conduct regular market analyses to understand and anticipate trends and works with P&O partners to monitor internal/external talent data and identify emerging requirements.
- Develops and recommends strategies to regional / business unit leadership, where needed, to ensure competitiveness in respective markets / talent segments and to meet specific business & talent goals. Ensures seamless execution thereof.
- Leads the implementation of Global Rewards programs within the Europe Region, ensuring maximum impact and mínimal disruption to local business through appropriate change management and collaboration with other P&O teams and functions.
- As part of the Global Rewards Leadership Team, provides counsel and strategic recommendations on Global Rewards program design, considering reputation, shareholder relations and compliance and the needs of the business units which they represent
- Provides leadership and strategic & operational direction for the Europe Region Rewards teams.

**Minimum requirements**

What you'll bring to the role:
Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of applicable experience in Rewards (preferred) or other P&O discipline
Excellent English spoken and written
- Strong leadership and management experience in complex organizations
- Strong business/business partnering experience across the full lifecycle of business activities
- Proven change agent with significant project and program experience
