As a Technical Support Center Engineer you will drive the design chain value proposition by generating the greatest number of design wins in technologies and registrations for customers engaged in product design resulting in growing business.

Also, you will interface with the engineering departments of customers and suppliers, and you will perform a variety of product, technical and engineering functions including but not limited to: pre/post sales support, research, design and development.

In this role, you will:

- Provide value added solutions for customers both internally and externally considering Avnet’s product and supplier strategy.
- Identify and track largest design opportunities from concept to production, utilizing all supplier resources to assure greatest potential for success.
- Discover design requirements, collaborating with the design, production and/or engineering departments to develop/execute technical solutions that help solve customer design challenges.
- Be part of our technical support center, managing technical requests coming from both internal and external customers to achieve outstanding customer service.
- Discover design requirements from the system level down to each individual element collaborating with the design, production and/or engineering departments to develop/execute technical solution.
- Work together with the regional sales organization and interact with the Avnet Abacus Technical community and franchise partners support resources.
- Participate actively in the Application Engineers trainings developing deep technical competence for the whole Avnet Abacus product portfolio.

Key Skills Required:

- Bachelor degree in Electronics or equivalent.
- 2+ years of working experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrate drive, enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills and working comfortably across teams, as well as being proactive and autonomous for tasks assigned.
- Communicate effectively, written & oral, in English.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
