Reporting to the Head of Oncology Daiichi Sankyo Spain, this role will partner to develop the organization's strategic vision and plan(s) to ensure its continued successful growth and profitability through a culture aligned to the Daiichi Sankyo Values and the principles of a high performing, customer and patient centric organization. The PMO will provide comprehensive business support to the Head of Oncology including coordinating activities across the team while aligning with other stakeholders on organizational issues, besides PMO will be the project leader for key business initiatives, this means that the position holder is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing strategic projects from initiation through to completion, securing required resources and using formal processes and tools to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs/resources and compliance.
The PMO will support on the implementation of strategic project cascaded by DS Europe or Global to be implemented at an affiliate level including the launch of specific products, internal processes and ways of working.
This role will subsequently support the alignment in the Alliances, the cultural and commercial transformation of the Business Unit, assists the Head of Oncology in daily operations and help to ensure that the organization is ready to maximize the opportunities of future oncology activity.
The role is part of the Oncology leadership team, important internal, external and Alliance meetings, and fosters a spirit of close collaboration with Corporate Functions, DS Europe, DS Global, other affiliates, the European PMO and the Alliance partners. The PMO is able to quickly establish effective networks across the Daiichi Sankyo organization.
The role will also be responsible for conducting and facilitating periodic reviews of achievements and performance vs. strategic plans presenting back to the leadership team and the Head of Oncology when appropriate.

**ROLES and RESPONSABILITIES**:
**Project Management**:

- Manage, plan and/or support of dedicated complex strategic projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs/resources
- Prioritize, steer and manage several projects at the same time
- Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage these resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Translate cross-functional requirements and needs into concepts and processes
- Manage the change management process in order to drive faster adaption within in organization
- Sets up and maintains a communication plan for all initiatives ensuring that relevant stakeholders are fully informed at appropriate stages
- Establishes process management optimization and matrix working within the Business unit in collaboration with the Leadership team

**Business Operations**
- Work with the Head of Oncology to creates the strategic vision for the organization and identifies and designs appropriate projects across the business in order to drive business transformation and development
- Work closely with the Head of Oncology, Leadership team, HR & Finance Business Partner to coordinate the annual Strategic and Operating Plan process to deliver high quality plans, projects and deliver on financial commitments.
- Constantly improve and manage the interface among commercial, medical, market access and enabling functions across the affiliate
- Contributes to transform the organization towards the principles of a high performing, customer centric organization, utilizing the skills of program management and communication
- Monitor performance objectives. Work with the team to develop corrective actions, as required
- Schedule and/or plan, support and facilitate business meetings, workshop and events for the Head of Oncology
- Provide input and data on operations as required by Europe/Global
- Liaison with Specialties/Corporate/DS Europe/Global/ US team to ensure consistent ‘One DS’ approach for planning/execution and support on having a good alignment
- Support the Head of Oncology and the Leadership team in establishing and fostering an agile and efficient way of working across the Business Unit
