**Your mission**
The Senior BD&L and Alliance Manager plays a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing partnerships and business opportunities that can drive growth and innovation for Ferrer.
As a senior experienced role will provide highly professional representation of the company to manage current or new alliances with partnering companies.
**Responsibilities**
**Opportunity** **identification & Deal Management**
- Represent the company in different forums and events related with Business Development. Presenting Ferrer as a reliable partner of choice ensuring access to potential pipeline asset development opportunities.
- Keep up to date with both the environment and market dynamics and the internal needs of Ferrer to optimize the selection of opportunities from a strategic and critical point of view.
- Lead cross-functional teams within the affiliate and the organization, to execute the evaluation of new asset opportunities, ensuring the fit within Ferrer Spain and Global strategy and running internal asset evaluation presentations & approval meetings.
- Point of Contact for all interactions with potential licensor partners, including deal discussions, negotiations, capabilities presentations and any other required interaction.
- Coordination of internal & external due diligence activities (BUDs, Commercial, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Market access, Manufacturing, IP ) including third-party consultants, to support complete and accurate due diligence of new asset opportunities.
- Ensure all required department assumptions, hypothesis and data are captured, integrated, and built in line with Ferrer Business Case guidelines.
- Coordinate potential deal negotiation for each agreement together with Ferrer legal team, manage deal legal documents from non-binding term sheet to and completion of definitive agreements.
**Alliance Management**
- Ensure value maximization after licensing-in & throughout asset lifecycle (including sub-licensing).
- Create and maintain trusted & valuable lasting partnerships with licensors. Ensuring partnerships achieve their goals efficiently, effectively, and harmoniously.
- Serve as unique point of contact for partnered companies and coordinate Ferrer departments to deliver as per agreement commitments.
- Monitor the progress of long-term partnerships, build relations, and manage how Ferrer is perceived by its partners.
- Establish frequent interaction with partners during the year, monitoring agreements, comply with agreed reporting, while establishing cooperative streamlines between peer functions and creating constructive relationships between companies.
- Lead, participate and/or attend main alliance management events organized by the industry, partnering companies or by Ferrer (or its licensees) to create or maintain key partner relations and develop potential new business opportunities.
- Facilitate and contribute to commercial partners and brand team meetings and interactions involving any relevant external and internal stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
