**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

PhD in Biomedicine and Molecular Biology
- R3 certificate (Agencia Estatal de Investigación)
- Competitive projects as principal investigator
- More than 10 years of postdoctoral experience in basic/translational research
- Strong publication record in high impact journals
- Spanish and English competence (written and spoken)
- Technically skilled, organized, creative, with high autonomy level and multidisciplinary profile

Ability to obtain national and international competitive funding
- Proven knowledge and experience in multi-omics (proteomics, transcriptomics, miRNAs) translational research
projects, and in cellular models
- Ability to cope with tight deadlines, ability to work effectively with a dynamic team and to work independently
and critical thinking and problem solving

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Develop his/her own research lines
- Give support to the on-going research lines of the group
- Supervision and direction of Ph.D. and MS students
- Write scientific papers
- Supervise other projects in the laboratory and will be responsible for the daily management and development of

the project

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: May 2024.
- Gross annual salary: 41.715,00 Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are
consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
