**Senior Junior Researcher**

**Renal Physiopathology Group**

The Renal Physiopathology Group (VHIR, Barcelona), headed by Dr. Anna Meseguer, offers a Senior Junior Researcher
Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. STATing novel biomarkers and therapeutic strategies, with file code
(INVES234762CANT) and call (AECC Research Staff 2023).

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Ph.D. in Biomedicine
- Specific training in protein trafficking and ion channels.
- Competitive projects as principal investigator.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (business level).

**Desired: -**

Training in glycobiology and mucins field.
- Teaching experience (> 10 ECTS).

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Specific training and notorious research experience in the field of protein trafficking and ion channels.
- Leadership experience, including master/Ph.D. thesis supervision.
- Ability to obtain national and international competitive funding.

**Desired: -**

Experience in electrophysiology, genetic/chemical screens and confocal live-imaging.
- Experience collaborating with pharmaceutical industries.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Develop his/her own research lines.
- Give support to the on-going research lines of the group.
- Supervision and direction of Ph.D. and MS students.
- Supervise master and Ph.D. theses.
- Write scientific papers.
- Supervise other projects in the laboratory and will be responsible for the daily management and development of
the project.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.
