**Job Brief**:
Gartner's European Midsize Enterprise business unit is on the lookout for **Account Executives **and **Business Development Managers **to help our fastest growing business unit globally.

**Business Development Manager**:
As a Business Development Manager for EMSE, you will be joining Gartner’s fastest growing region operating at the forefront of Gartner’s sales function, responsible for acquiring new clients for Gartner. You will be given ownership for a specific territory targeting prospective clients with business revenue of up to $750 million per annum.

**What you’ll do**:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients (members), leading the full sales conversation and negotiation before transitioning new clients to the account management team

**What you’ll need**:

- Business fluency in German/French/Italian/Spanish/Greek (one of) and English, both written and spoken.
- Circa 2-5 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, senior-level B2b sales or similar
- A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence and sales acumen
- A high level of drive for individual success, combined with a collaborative approach.

**Account Executive**

As a Account Executive for EMSE, you will be responsible for selling Gartner’s research and advisory services to C-Level clients. Every day, you will be growing and retaining business in order to over-achieve your targets and fuel your career.

**What you'll do**:

- Consistently exceed your sales quota by growing, retaining and prospecting clients within your sales territory
- Spend the majority of your time on the phone engaging with C-level clients
- Be responsible for a combination of new business development and managing existing accounts across a defined territory and have full ownership of an end-to-end sales cycle

**What you’ll need**:

- Business fluency in German/French/Italian/Spanish/Greek (one of) and English, both written and spoken.
- Circa 1-6 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, senior-level B2b sales or similar
- Have a proven track record of success in a sales role
- Are a strong communicator, capable of engaging with and selling to C-level/senior executive clients
