**Position Summary**

We are looking a
**CMI Segment Lead for the Confectionery Category**, whose role will be to plan, design, and deliver analysis and insights to the relevant Marketing Segment Team and other relevant functions to help understand the confectionery target consumer, shopper, and marketplace.

You will actively contribute to CMI functional upskilling and overall consolidation of the function in collaboration with the markets, the Global Insight team, and the agency partners, to promote a consumer-centric, data powered culture in Confectionery.

**A Day in the Life of a CMI Segment Lead Confectionery EMENA**
- Acts as a Research business partner for the Category Leadership team to better drive the business based on data and facts, derived from research.
- Defines and executes the best brand/segment research plan enabling to support the business strategy in close alignment with the business.
- Participates in the Segment leadership team and I/R portfolio strategy.
- Implements methods and tools to build a knowledge base shared across stakeholders to understand the target consumer and how to know consumers deeply.
- Coordinates and guarantees that the right methodologies, guidelines, and standards are applied in research studies.
- Proposes and conducts consumer, shopper, product, media, competitive analysis to support the business with relevant data, information and insights.
- Works with brand builders on Brand Building in Nestlé Way (BBNW) winning actions related to consumer knowledge and supports them with relevant consumer research and synthesis.
- Synthesizes consumer understanding from diverse sources and uncovers insights to help develop brand strategies.

**What will make you successful**
- 6-8 years’ experience in market research at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG or in major research agencies.
- Experience with a broad spectrum of market research methodologies.
- Continuous Research Experience including Consumer Panel and Retail Audit data analyses; brand equity data; advertising, tracking and related Statistical modelling.
- Experience in managing budgets and projects.
- Cultural agility and curiosity, inclusive leadership.
- Successful track record of communicating insights with impact.
- Fluent in English, a second European language is a plus.
