**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are hiring a Payroll Manager to our Payroll team in Spain

You'll be responsible for managing a team directing all aspects of payroll operations, which include overseeing company payments, reviewing payroll changes, and compiling payroll summaries for management review.

To ensure success as a Payroll Manager, you should be able to provide support to the financial strategies for the continuous improvement of payroll systems. Ultimately, a top-notch payroll manager should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise and support the payroll team on the day-to-day activities.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Managing a team responsible for all aspects of the European payroll process, such as approving transactions and reviewing exemptions.
- Changing individual payrolls as stipulated by management, such as tax deductions or salary adjustments.
- Maintaining payroll systems and reporting any issues to management.
- Supervising personnel involved in payroll and ensuring the best financial practices are adhered to.
- Auditing payroll transactions to ensure that accounts, payment dates, and taxes are accurate and up to date.
- Creating monthly and annual payroll reports for management review.
- Ensuring all payroll systems comply with local tax laws.
- Attending any payroll-related queries or questions from employees.
- Support for the close and external audit, when needed.
- Manage, collaborate and evaluate external payroll vendors and other outsourced service providers
- Partner with our HR, Tax and Finance teams on process improvements and management of inputs and outputs.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to achieve business results.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, human resource management, or a similar field.
- 4-5 years' experience in payroll in European countries.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll and HR software, such as ADP and Workday.
- Familiarity with labor legislation and tax laws.
- The ability to ethically work with employee-sensitive information.
- Solid knowledge of data entry management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- International experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven.

**PAID TIME OFF**: We know how important it is to take time away from work to recharge. Employees receive a minimum of 25 days paid holiday per year with an additional day for each year of tenure (up to 5) in addition to annual holidays (including an extra holiday on your birthday).
