**This long-term opportunity is for an account manager who wants responsibility, to play a big role in client management and upselling, and to work remotely with a growing international team.**

**About the role**:
As an account media manager, you’ll have several teams to work with and bounce ideas off. Primarily the writers, video editors, SEO team, management and marketing team.

The initial onboarding period lasts 1-2 weeks and then you’ll be ready to work on certain projects while taking a few hours each week to learn and further develop your knowledge about the strategies we’re using or will be using.

Our goal is to give you the autonomy of carrying out your responsibilities by yourself, with the help and support of the team, who are all experts in their fields.

We're looking for an energetic, extremely organised, creative and hardworking person to join our team. Having lots of experience and/or leadership qualities is a huge plus.

The role involves managing, communicating and retaining/upselling our current clients. You’ll be managing a wide range of accounts for different projects and types of businesses, for an even wider variety of industries.

Here is some of the types of tasks you’ll be carrying out:

- Having meetings with clients to bring them through their SEO and Social Media reports
- Upselling: Evaluating the results of services we have carried out for clients and giving your recommendations on what services they should focus on next to grow their business online
- Keeping the client satisfied at all times by ensuring they are being communicated with quickly and effectively
- Developing a system and strategy to retain clients for future services when their current contract runs out

The role is suited to a person who is **extremely organised**. We have a lot of past and current clients, and therefore a strong and efficient system is needed to manage and retain them.

You will have the support and guidance from the heads of each department to have informed conversations and meetings with clients about the services being carried out with them, and also to be able to effectively deliver and explain results.

One important aspect of this role includes upselling clients. Past sales experience will be a huge help to you, but it is not necessary. The results we achieve for our clients should serve as proof that what we do works, we need somebody capable of helping our clients to realise that by doing more they will grow their business online even more. We aim to make our clients more money than they pay us.

The successful applicant will have a love for writing, experience, be extremely organised, be an excellent communicator, an A1 attitude and a team player. Being a leader is a huge plus.

You’ll be working with clients from different industries, learning and expanding your knowledge about them.
