**What you’ll do**
As PTP Expert you would be part of the One Front Office, which is part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD). GAD is driving and delivering finance operations for purchase to pay (PTP), order to cash (OTC) and General Accounting areas for more than 100 entities and different business units. Our focus is to deliver compliant and quality assured financial information faster and smarter to support business decisions.

Volvo Cars is going through an exciting transformation moving towards electric cars, independent driving solutions, shared mobility and online sales. Finance & accounting process management is becoming an essential factor in this journey. Standardized and scalable processes will allow the company to move quicker, supporting the corporate strategy to be the fastest transformer in the industry.

The PTP Expert is aimed to be a key contributor in this journey, streamlining the current processes through analysis and automation, driving harmonization across the regions, and supporting the implementation of new business models, products, and services.

You would be working closely with Business Process Developer Team in Sweden, who are responsible and specialized in designing new global processes. You would be responsible for coordinating with the four Accounting hubs in US, China, APEC, EMEA to implement new processes.

**Main responsibilities**
- Single Point of Contact with Business Process Developers and Digital Finance on harmonization / transformation initiatives and process improvements.
- Coordinate with other Workstream Leads in regional hubs for process changes and harmonization initiatives.
- Support the integration of operational activities related to new business models and products in the SSC.
- Implement process changes impacting multiple entities.
- Assess process areas which would benefit from Robotics/Digitalization.
- Ensure all process changes/updates are clearly communicated.
- Identify the process gaps by coordinating with PTP country responsible.
- Initiating and participating in projects or actions to improve the overall performance quality of the PTP process.
- Continually strive to implement Global processes (US, China, APEC, EMEA).
- Support on the KPI definition, implementation, analysis, and action plan.

**What you‘ll bring**
We are looking for someone with 7+ years’ experience with solid knowledge in Accounting and SAP. As you will work across teams, a collaborative mindset and excellent project management skills are needed for this role.
- University degree in Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years working experience, with at least 5 years improving PTP processes in multinational companies.
- Experience in Change management and Project management.
- Pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind.
- Multiple Stakeholder management - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to interact with all levels across the organization.
- Results and action-oriented.
- In-depth SAP knowledge is a must.
- Accounting Experience
- Digital mindset and “Tech Savvy”
- Focus on driving efficiency.
- Cultivate innovation.
- Excellent command of Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- High English level (C1)
- Service minded and curious.
- High integrity

Desired but NOT required:

- Experience working in a SSC / BPO
- Experience with Intelligent Process Automation tools
- Data analytics skills and familiar with data visualization tools (e.g.:Power BI)
- Green Belt - six sigma, process excellence, lean methodology
