Team Context

As part of the Customer Satisfaction & Quality organization, the Final Inspection team ensures products meet Schneider Electric's quality, safety, and customer requirements before shipment. Acting as the final quality checkpoint, the team performs product inspections, testing activities, analysis of customer returns, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The team contributes to:

- Delivering high-quality products to customers.
- Reducing non-conformities and customer complaints.
- Driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Role Overview

The Final Inspection Technician/Engineer is responsible for validating product compliance before shipment through inspection and testing activities. The role also supports customer return analysis, root cause investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Objectives

- Ensure products meet customer and quality requirements before delivery.
- Perform mechanical and electrical inspections and testing.
- Support investigations of customer returns and product issues.
- Maintain inspection tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve non-conformities.

Key Responsibilities

Final Inspection & Testing

- Perform final inspections on finished products and assemblies.
- Verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and functional tests using appropriate equipment.
- Record inspection results, identify deviations, and elevate non-conformities when required.
- Support validation activities and corrective action implementation.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

- Participate in customer return analysis and root cause investigations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process performance.
- Ensure inspection standards, fixtures, gauges, and test equipment remain accurate and operational.

Functional Expertise

- Knowledge of electrical systems and industrial products.
- Understanding of quality inspection and testing methods.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with measurement and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.

Education & Experience

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- Recent graduates with a technical background are welcome to apply
- Experience in quality, manufacturing, testing, or industrial environments is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical systems, testing methods, and inspection processes is desirable
