If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.About the jobThis position is intended to supervise three areas: Finance, Payroll, and Treasury .The Finance Supervisor manages the daily activities of the Finance department in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and UPS policy. He/she supports the country finance function by providing cost and revenue information.What you'll do:Finance Area: He/she will be responsible for overseeing costing and supporting the Bid Cost Analysis Model and for preparing and developing forecast and business plans. This position requires reading and interpreting financial statements, evaluating data to determine financial patterns, tendencies, and trends, and developing business cases using financial information.Payroll Area: He/she must manage the payroll process for his/her assigned employees to ensure accurate payroll processing. He/she organizes workflows, develops procedures, and establishes priorities to meet payroll, contractual, and regulatory deadlines and objectives. This position requires working knowledge of labor contracts and state laws pertaining to payroll throughout the UPS network.Treasury Area: He/she will coordinate Treasury operations, maintain banking relationships, and monitor cash processes. He/she must work with UPS Region Treasury, Finance, and Accounting to carry out treasury-related tasks (e.G., wiring funds, consolidating cash, disbursements, etc.).
