Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, India, Singapore, Mexico and Brazil specialized in providing monitoring and control solutions for standard solar plants or solar coupled with diesel generators and or batteries.Our reference customers are installers and operators of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury... Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in more than 50 countries, from 100KWp to 100MWp with a strong will to tackle bigger and more complex projects every year.
These power plants equip commercial and industrial buildings, remote villages or islands not connected to any national grid as well as utility scale plants directly connected to the high voltage network.We are looking for talented, passionate, and creative profiles - sharing our passion for renewable energies - to help us build tomorrow's electricity gridIn the Operations department, the candidate will focus on Spanish projects and medium/large PPC projects with the support of the Team Leader Technical Manager and Delivery Manager.
In parallel, the candidate will join a core expert team composed of 3 project managers and 5 technical managers, where the prioritization of human contact, professional growth, inclusiveness, and collaboration are at the forefront of the day-to-day interaction.

The candidate will join a young and talented pool of professionals that are used to work in projects all over the world and to solve challenges with experience as well as innovation spirit.Main objective of the position and Tasks Description (not limited)The main activity will be focused on developing the technical solution for the Spanish Utility Scale project.
The elaboration and execution will include:Hardware Selection Configuration (network, I/O interface, … etc)Electrical design of the SCADA cabinet of the plantDesign network architecture of plants, ensuring speed of communication as well as high availability of Elum's solutionProduce technical deliverables (Functional analyses, electrical diagrams, network architecture diagrams, I/O list, mapping of exchange tables, etc)SCADA HMI design and implementationManaging subcontractor's activitiesTechnical alignment and clarification with the clientMaster and configure Elum's PPC solution and lead tests (onsite or remote) to ensure successful commissioningOnsite activities are an important part of the Technical manager's role, a profound interest for such activities is mandatoryComplementary tasks will include:Level 2 support and maintenance of sites in serviceSupport other delivery team members in their activitiesDesign device integration in order to enlarge Elum compatibility with BESS, Genset Controller or other.Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of project requirements and risks for project in pre-sales phasesCoordinate quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of the commissioning of Elum solutionsLead internal projects to establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature Delivery team's quality and efficiencyCreate and animate trainings to newcomers or other Elum colleaguesIdentify and analyze bugs and product improvements to help advance Elum's solutionsRequired Soft Skills (autonomy level, responsibility level, accuracy, interpersonal skills, …)Predisposition to work on a daily basis with a fully remote teamProactivity and autonomyAbility to manage several projects in parallel and to deliver on time with the expected qualityStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of identifying and resolving technical and operational challengesAbility to share experience (REX/LL)and train others to accompany the growth of Elum and its collaboratorsCommunication :Ability to communicate easily (internally and externally)Ability to adapt your discourse to your interlocutorConflict management: ability to handle tense communications and de-escalate situations to ensure efficient and professional communicationFlexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsflexible and agile, knowing how to roll with the punchesMust be eager to learn, understand and apply new technologiesTeamworkBeing cooperative, collaborative, easy to work with and talk to, and fair to others.Support diverse and inclusive work environmentTeam-building skills with technical and non-technical staffValues Hands-on/ Pragmatic- you believe that financially viable / pragmatic options will achieve energy transition? Experience in utility scale in Spain is a requirementExperience of on-site activities is strongly appreciatedUnderstanding of the control systems for BESS, Hybrid and off-grid projects will be appreciatedIn-depth knowledge of SCADA architectures, control systems, and their application in photovoltaic power plants.
