.Detalles del empleoTipo de empleo: Jornada completaUbicación: Castelldefels, Barcelona provinciaDescripción completa del empleo ICFO is offering a staff researcher position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.The successful candidate will be joining the Molecular Nanophotonics group led by Prof. Dr. Niek van Hulst and the tasks and responsibilities will include:Assist Group Leader in project management, especially those involving advanced spectroscopy.Co-supervision of PhD students.Co-supervision of MSc and/or exchange students.Managing laboratory organization of Molecular NanoPhotonics group.Set-up a microscopic platform with incoherent action detected multidimensional spectroscopy.Set-up a platform for photocurrent detected broad-band ultrafast spectroscopy.Development of conceptual models to interpret multidimensional spectroscopies.Take initiative in implementation of compressed sensing and AI methods.Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in physics and/or chemistry.The candidate should have:Proven experience in ultrafast multidimensional spectroscopy.Proven experience in low light level microscopy.Solid academic track record.Proven experience in supervision of exchange, MSc, PhD students.Persistence in experimental laboratory problem solving.Creativity in planning, modeling and analyzing advanced experimental research.Strong communication skills and community spirit.ICFO is an equal opportunity employer. Standard salaries range from a lower level aligned with national Ramon-y-Cajal fellowships to higher levels aligned with Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships.The position will be formalized with a full-time no-end contract linked to the specific research line described in this opening, within the Molecular Nanophotonics area. The contract therefore will remain active as long as the group continues being operative.Additionally, a family allowance is also available on request and after corresponding approval for people with family charges in the terms described in the corresponding policy
