.Company Description Fairmont La Hacienda will offer guests one of the most exclusive resorts in southern Spain.Situated on the San Roque coast, in a unique and privileged enclave near Sotogrande, it features a luxurious 5-star hotel and branded residences, showcasing breathtaking sea views.Guests at Fairmont La Hacienda will indulge in a luxury resort experience with access to pools, a spa, fitness facilities, a grand ballroom, and flexible meeting spaces.Surrounded by two of southern Europe's most renowned golf courses, the hotel provides an exclusive retreat for golf enthusiasts, beach lovers, and discerning travelers.Job Description Scope and Objectives.The Director of Food & Beverage leads the Food & Beverage operation, by establishing its strategic and tactical positioning as a world-class operation.The position is responsible for supervising the overall success of the day-to-day operation, the long-term positioning as well as achieving all set KPI's in the areas of revenue/profit, cost and expense management, quality commitment, team morale, recruitment of the best international and local talent as well as ensuring the innovative and creative reputation of the division is upheld.Job Responsibilities:Sets and clearly communicates the strategic direction for the Food & Beverage department in coordination with General Manager and Executive Chef.Consistently improves the financial profitability, productivity and efficiency of the food and beverage department.Prepares and monitors annual budget revenue goals and expenses for the Food and Beverage department and makes recommendations for adjustments if needed.Executes inventory control and calculation for monthly analysis and reconciliation.Ensures consistency of quality, taste, presentation, temperature of beverage served in all Food & Beverage Outlets.Ensures maximum creativity and consistency in all Food & Beverage presentations.Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Food & Beverage / Hospitality Management or extensive hands-on experience in a similar restaurant concept.Relevant experience in the international deluxe hotel or free-standing restaurant and bar environment.Oral and written fluency in Spanish and English.Thrives in large scale operation and high volume operation.Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.Service oriented with an eye for details, passion and innovative for Food & Beverage.Good presentation and influencing skills.Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.Self-motivated and energetic, able to set priorities.Commitment to professional values – brand conscious.Applicants are kindly requested to possess either EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Spain.Additional Information What is in it for you:Competitive Salary and BenefitsDiscounted hotel rooms and food and beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe
