Main Responsibilities Ownership of the Airline Distribution Barometer, which is a detailed annual review of relevant updates regarding business models, GDS value proposition, and industry yield evolution.
Designing the review and presenting to relevant stakeholders and management.
Collaboration during the Budget, forecast, LTP, and other planning processes, including performing complex modeling, providing insight into the industry's volume evolution using external sources (IATA, T2RL, airlines, and manufacturers) and own analysis, assessing alternative distribution models that will come in the LTP scope (3 years term) and how to best incorporate that meaningful insight into the complex models with minimal disruption to timelines and the rest of teams.
Collaboration during the GDA Pricing modeling to estimate the company's Distribution Gross Revenue (+3Bio€), which is a key driver for pricing decision-making.
Ownership of the financial assessment on strategic initiatives within the Distribution area, including exploration of new business opportunities and the financial and risk evaluation on new business models and Alternative Content Sourcing.
Interaction with heads of sales and strategy.
Key Responsibilities Actively collaborate on the Pricing & Planning Finance processes. Provide financial and commercial consulting to pricing-related initiatives (pre-Budget).
Participate in modeling and provide financial and commercial consulting to Budget, Forecast, and LTP processes.
Ownership of the Airline Distribution Barometer, including financial modeling, risk assessment, discussion of mitigation strategies, and presentation to other stakeholders and management.
Being responsible for the REAPS booking fee insight and modeling within the Finance organization.
Collaboration during the GDA Pricing modeling to estimate the company's Air Distribution Gross Revenue (2.8bn€), which is the key driver for the Distribution annual pricing decision-making.
Support in the coordination of the departments involved for an accurate, efficient, and successful Planning process.
Travel Distribution Strategic Initiatives Responsible for financial assessment of strategic initiatives within the Distribution area, including exploration of new business opportunities and the financial and risk evaluation on new business models and Alternative Content Sourcing.
Lead financial modeling and opportunity sizing.
Collaborate risk assessment and mitigation strategy proposal.
Building high-quality presentations and visuals and presenting findings to management, including Directors and Heads of Sales and Strategy.
Entry point for CFI, other Finance departments, or other BUs (Altea, CST, LEG) on Distribution strategic initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate 2 to 5 yrs work experience in an analytical role, preferably in consulting.
A strong business understanding of the travel sector.
A strong interest in technology and travel.
Financial/project valuation knowledge.
Excellent MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Knowledge of Business intelligence tools is a plus (Power BI, Allstats, Qlik, AFO).
