Ideally, you will be a top performer from a prestigious university in fields such as engineering, economics, finance, or business, with approximately 2-5 years of experience in the travel industry, consulting, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing and Planning Processes
Engage actively in the Pricing & Planning Finance processes. Provide financial and commercial insights for pricing-related initiatives. Participate in modeling and offer financial and commercial advice for Budget, Forecast, and Long-Term Planning (LTP) processes.
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing the Airline Distribution Barometer, which encompasses financial modeling, risk assessment, and stakeholder presentations.
- Overseeing the REAPS booking fee insights and modeling within the Finance division, which will be utilized by global central and local organizations for travel seller business cases.
- Collaborating on GDA Pricing modeling to estimate the company's Air Distribution Gross Revenue, a critical factor in annual pricing decisions.
- Contributing to Budget, forecast, LTP, and other planning processes, including complex modeling and providing insights into industry volume trends using external data sources.
- Facilitating coordination among departments to ensure an accurate and efficient Planning process.
Travel Distribution Strategic Initiatives
Accountable for the financial evaluation of strategic initiatives within the Distribution domain, including the exploration of new business prospects and the financial and risk assessment of new business models.
Main responsibilities include:
- Leading financial modeling and opportunity assessment.
- Collaborating on risk evaluation and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Creating high-quality presentations and visuals to communicate findings to management, including Directors and Heads of Sales and Strategy.
- Serving as the entry point for CFI and other Finance departments regarding Distribution strategic initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an analytical capacity, preferably in consulting.
- A solid understanding of the travel industry.
- A keen interest in technology and travel.
- Knowledge of financial and project valuation.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools is advantageous (Power BI, Allstats, Qlik, AFO).
