The position entails working with C. elegans, in addition to ongoing funded studies of inter-generational cardiovascular effects of Nicotine exposure in mice. The lab is also open to topics of mutual interest, as they relate to heart failure and/or cardiovascular toxicity of tobacco products in youth.Qualifications:MinimumPhD or Equivalent in molecular biology, or other biological sciences.Other preferred qualifications:Experience working with patch clamp device for single cell studies, Langendorff perfusion preps and working heart prepsExperience with o ther basic molecular biology tools (i.E., Crispr editing, or SiRNA, and single cell RNA sequencing.)
