.Iberia | Business Development Director, Products Job descriptionAvanade is looking for a Business Development Executive who is a deal hunter, deal maker, originator and self-starter who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions.This role requires superb interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships within new & existing clients within the Microsoft ecosystem.The Business Development Director is accountable for originating, solutioning, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals for all Avanade products, capabilities, services, and solutions. This role focuses on activating sales strategy in chosen Accounts or Territories to grow the market. This will include coordinating with the right teams, achieving the envisioned sales and revenue impact, and bringing necessary support through the business, tools and other requirements to the teams needed to embed new ways of delivering value to clients across a complex landscape.Skills and experiencesExperience selling across multiple Solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps and Data & AI), preferably enterprise scale consulting engagements that could include global delivery in the Products Industry.Experience with Microsoft, and other partners to grow their book of business.Experience anticipating, identifying, and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks circumstances.Success as a Business development Hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities.Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our client's business needs.Driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.About youCharacteristics that can spell success for this role You are a team leader, deal hunter, deal idea maker, deal originator.You identify with being a self-aware, self-starter who develops and wins new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions.You love to work collaboratively with energy, drive and dedication to overcome obstacles to achieve your goals.You take ownership and encourage others to make a positive impact.You have superb interpersonal skills and can establish strong relationships.You anticipate and neutralize obstacles and objections.You are a skillful influencer of internal and external resources.What you will doBe focused on one or more areas of expertise within Avanade's industry sectors, particularly Products.You will be responsible for identifying high potential transformation deals, leading, and running many of the entire sales cycles.As a Director of a group of senior Business Developers, you will be responsible to guide, motivate and drive them to the next level.You will drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with direct clients in your area of expertise.You will also work closely with partners driving new business
