what we're looking for We are looking for a Training Manager to join our Corporate Office. The position, based in Spain, will develop and lead training programs across the Exide global organization with the support of a team of local trainers from various European Countries (train the trainer concept).
Training programs will include specific trainings to be delivered both internally (Sales teams, Customer Service teams and other Departments) and externally (national Customers as well as international buying/trading Groups) on a variety of subjects.
Main Respobnsabilities: Scout in market trends to achieve marketing intelligence from the business.Lead the design, development, and delivery of standardized training programs, cooperating with subject matter experts.Perform technical and editorial reviews of contents already existing and/or developed by others.Manage the organization, planning, implementation, and execution of learning initiatives.Collaborate with Country organizations (Marketing and Sales) to ensure and enable effective delivery and execution of training initiatives through both live and remote training.Conduct Training needs assessments to identify learning and development opportunities and to design and deploy targeted programs that enhance knowledge and effectiveness through improvement of competencies.Update, maintain, and deliver new hire training including materials, as well as address the ongoing learning and development needs of the entire organization.Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to develop and deliver learning opportunities for all departments within the organization.Support and comply with the company's Business Management System policies and procedures.Keep updated training web pages and other internal training repositories.Addapt training and presentation contents based on the audienceUpdate job knowledge and stay current on trends through activities; including, but not limited to, participation in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizationsDesired candidate profile: Bachelor's or Master Degree in Engineering, Marketing or related field.5-7 years' experience in product training or technical support roles in a manufacturing industry preferably within the Automotive sector3 years' experience leading teams (remote leadership experience preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookOutstanding written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to travel up to 50% of the timeWe offer: The opportunity to gain valuable experience within a large international corporation.
